Over three hundred runners along with several hundred spectators turned out to either run or support the event. 

The Underwood Run Committee would like to say a big "thank you" for all who attended the event. A special thanks goes to St John's Ambulance, The Trent FM Thunder Team, former Nottingham Forest Captain Steve Chettle, Martins Traffic Management & our main sponsor, Executive Home Improvements as well as all the back room support team & stall holders.

We have received a number of enquiries regarding car parking on the day. Runners will need to park their car on one of the many streets of the village. Parking is free with many parking opportunities within a 5 minute walk to the school. For Sat Nav people our post code is NG16 5GN.

For those of you who would like to sample the experience, it is planned to have a fully qualified person offering a 'FREE' sports massage to runners. This service will be pre & post race.

Race prize categories for Male and Female for this years 10k and Fun Run are as follows...

10k: Winner of Under 35 (15 - 34) - Under 50 (35 - 49) - Over 50. Plus 10k Overall race winner.

Fun Run: Winner of Under 12 - Over 12 - 1st Underwood Family.

The 22nd Underwood Run will take place on Sunday 27th April 2008 at 11:00am. Once again the day will feature the 10k Road Race, 4k Fun Run & Field Run. This years chosen charity will be the 'Cystic Fibrosis Trust'.

For those who wish to know, this race is ran under UKA Road Run rules. our licence number is 10281.
